Telangana State  Education Common Entrance Test (TS Ed.CET –2019)
through Computer Based Test (CBT) for the year 2019 will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderaba.

• for admission into B.Ed. (Two Years) regular course  in  the  Colleges  of  Education  in  Telangana  State  for  the  academic  year  2019-2020.    
• Eligible candidates  should submit their application ONLINEmode only from 28-2-2019.    
• Application registration fee of Rs. 650/-(Rs.450/-for SC/ST) should be paid at TS Online /AP Online / through Payment Gateway.

Qualifications for TS EDCET 2019:-

• BEd Mathematics;-
  Candidates with B.A./B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the group subjects, B.E/B.Tech with Mathematics and BCA candidates with Mathematics at Intermediate level as a group subject

• BEd Physical Sciences:- Candidates with B.Sc., who have studied Physics and Chemistry or allied subjects under Part-II group subjects, BE/B.Tech with Physics and Chemistry subjects and BCA candidates with Physical Sciences (Physics/Chemistry) at Intermediate level as group subject 

• BEd Biological Sciences:-
  Candidates with B.Sc/B.Sc(Home Science) who have studied Botany and Zoology or allied subjects under Part-II group subjects and BCA candidates with Biological Sciences at Intermediate level as group subject.

• BEd Social Studies:-All candidates with BA./BCom /B.B.M/BBA/BCA  students with Social Sciences at Intermediate level as group subject.
  

• BEd English:-
  The candidates with B.A in SpecialEnglish/Optional English/English Literature/MA English

Educational Qualifications for TSEDCET 2019:-

• Candidates should have passed or appeared for qualifying examination

• In any Bachelors Degree ie., B.A, BCom, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Sc), BCA, BBM/BBA or in the Masters Degree, 
• securing at least 50% aggregate marks.

The following eligibility criteria may please be noted carefully while admitting the UG students into various courses of study:

Admission System in Kendriya Vidyalaya:-

Kendriya Vidyala Admission Procedure:

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission priorities:-

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS UNDER CIVIL / DEFENCE SECTOR:-

• Children of transferable and non-transferable Central government employees and children of ex-servicemen.
• This will also include children of Foreign National officials,
• who come on deputation or transfer to India on invitation by Govt. of India.
• Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertaking/Institute of Higher Learning of the Govt of India.
• Children of transferable and non-transferable StateGovernment employees.
• Children of transferableand non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies/PublicSector Undertakings/Institute of Higher Learning of the State Governments.
• Children from any other category including the children of Foreign Nationals who are located in India due to their work or for any personal reasons.
• The children of Foreign Nationalswould be considered only in case there are no Children of Indian Nationals waitlisted for admission.

Note:-Preference in Admission towards will be based on the number of transfers ofthe parents in the last 7 years.

Eligibility & Age limit for Admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya:- Qualifications for Admission in to Kendriya Vidyalaya:-
ELIGIBLE AGE FOR ADMISSIONs in Kendriya Vidyalaya:-

• Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. 
• (Child born on 1stApril should also be considered.)
• The minimum and maximum age limit for admission in KendriyaVidyalayas in various  classes is given below:
• (Child born on 1stApril should also beconsidered.)

Note:The  maximum  age  limit  can  be  relaxed  by  two  years  in  case  of Differently abledchildrenby the Principal.

• There is no age restriction for admission to Class XI  provided the student  is seeking  admission in the year of passing ClassX examination.
• Similarly, there will be no upper & lower age limit for admission to class XII provided there has been no break in the continuous study of the student after passing class XI.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions in ADMISSION FOR CLASS X AND XII;-

• Admissions to class X & XII, other than KV students, will be entertained subject to availability of vacancies.
• Such admissions to class X and XII will be consideredby the Deputy Commissioner of the Regionconcerned, 
• only if, the average strength in class X/XII is below 40. 
• This will further be subject to the following conditions:
• i.The child has been in the same course of studies 
• i.e. in a CBSE-affiliated school.
• ii.For Class X, the child must have obtained not less than 55% marks in aggregatein class IX.
• iii.For admission to class XII, 55% marks in class XI examination is mandatory.
• iv.The child should otherwise be eligible as per KVS admission guidelines.
• v The combinations of subjectsopted by the student are available in KendriyaVidyalayas.

How Kendriya Vidyalaya Fill Vacant Seats:-
Vacant Seats in Kendriya Vidyalaya:-

• ADMISSION FOR VACANT SEATS 
• In case seats remain vacant after 30thJune as the case may be, in the year of admission, 
• Deputy Commissioner of the Region is empowered to allow admissions upto the prescribed strength asperpriorities in admission upto 31stJuly.

Note:In case of any issue related to the interpretation of Admission Guidelines, the decision of Commissioner KVS, will be final

Admission FEE in Kendriya Vidyalaya:-

• FEE AND OTHER CONCESSIONS:-
• No fee to be charged fromthe children admitted under the 25% quota prescribed under RTE Act 2009
• Expenses on account of NCERT text book, note books, stationary, uniform and transport will be reimbursed on production of proper bills in respect  of  25% of the children admitted under  the RTE Provisionssubject to the ceiling prescribed and availability of funds.
• Once the children are admitted in Class I under RTE Act, they will continue to enjoy exemptions and concessions till class VIII either in the same KVor any other K.V. movingon transfer as per RTE Act.
• Address proof of the parent should be furnished at the time of the registration.
• The employees who have the facility of fee reimbursement in their departments cannot claim RTE concessions

Kendriya Vidyalaya Method of Admission in Class II TO VIII:-

Admission test shall not be conducted for admission to Class II to VIII and  the  admission  may  be granted  based  on  Priority  category  system(1  to  5  or  6  as  the  case  may  be).    If  applications  are  more  than  the number of seats, lottery system will be followed in each category including single girl child quota (Class VI Onwards)
